Tasting - Lyeth Pinot Noir

Lyeth Pinot Noir
Name: Lyeth
Variety: Pinot Noir
Region: Sonoma County, California
Country: USA
Year: 2010
Price: $26.00

Winery review: This Pinot Noir is supple and juicy with lively flavors of Bing cherry and raspberry, balanced with spice and a hint of earthiness. Winemaker Bill Arbios has created this exciting blend of Pinot Noir grapes from carefully selected vineyards from the most esteemed corners of Sonoma County, including the Russian River Valley and the Carneros region, each offering its own unique flavor profiles from its terroir. The select lots of wine were blended to develop complexity and true varietal character, while retaining an approachable, rich fruit style that is genuinely delightful and truly satisfying.

My review: The nose was dry and like Parmesan cheese. The taste was peppery and tasted like cumin. A delicious and luscious Pinot Noir.
