Winery review: Bright red-ruby. Raspberry, exotic flowers, spices and a whiff of game on the nose. Dense, ripe and sweet, with harmonious acidity framing the chewy raspberry, chocolate and floral flavors. A note of woodsmoke adds nuance without overwhelming the wine's fruit. Relies as much on its fresh acidity as on its smooth tannins for structure. This floral, aromatic malbec finishes persistent and light on its feet. - 89 Points, International Wine Cellar
My review: This wine smelled of milk chocolate and raspberries; it tasted true to the nose of raspberries and was slightly jammy and thick. It was lightly peppered and absolutely fabulous. My favorite Mendoza Malbec I have tasted thus far.
