Winery review: Dark ruby color. A hint of sweetness, medium plus body with well integrated tannins that linger on the long finish. A nicely balanced wine, with enough acid and tannin to make this an excellent compliment to many foods.
My review: The nose on this wine was slightly savory with hints of fig and black cuurant. It tasted more fruity with black cherries, plum, and fig, with a finish of black pepper. This wine pared delightfully with white truffle oil and mushroom pizza.
