Winery review: Simply Naked Pinot Noir has intense strawberry jam, pomegranate and bing cherry flavors with a supple yet delicate finish. Serve with pork, chicken, tomato-based pasta dishes, fresh dark berries, and mild/creamy cheeses.
My review: This wine smelled creamy with raspberries and chocolate in its bouquet. It tasted like plums and black cherry with hints of asparagus and a black pepper finish. I thought this wine might have seen some time on American oak, but it was not, according to the winery and its label. I found this wine off balanced and did not enjoy this much.
